Hypothermia can be life-threatening. Place the bird in a quiet, dimly lit area with a heat source such as a low‑temperature heating pad, hot-water bottle wrapped in cloth, or an infrared/incandescent lamp. Aim for a temperature around 30 – 35 °C (86 – 95 °F).
